Human Resources Business Consultant

Advise management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities. Act as internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues. Develop, revise and implement human resource
policies and procedures.  Ensure company is in compliance with established policies and procedures. Prepare and maintain special internal and external HR related reports. Answer non-routine requests for information on policy interpretation. Assist with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow. 

Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.  Conduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.  Participate in professional development sessions or seminars.  Work on special projects.  Lead special and cross-functional project teams.  Present training sessions.  Attend meetings, conferences and seminars. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Three years of professional level experience in Human Resources.

Human Resource Systems Project Manager

The HR Systems Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of HR technology solutions and related business processes. Their specific duties will include planning project activities; monitoring, tracking and reporting on project activities; ensuring business requirements are documented and implemented according to client specifications; applying PMI principles to manage the project to mitigate risk and ensure project success factors are realized; manage resources appropriately to ensure the effective use of consultants by evaluating their work/task appropriately. Recommend business process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. 

Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative. 

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent years of professional work experience; 5 years' experience as the lead in a Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, or have managed the implementation of at least 2 HR systems; Must be fluent in Visio, MS Project and Excel.

HR Systems Analyst

The HR Systems Analyst provides support and maintenance of various Human Resource Information Systems. in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists HR subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.  Three to five years of HRIS experience. One to two years of project management experience. Systems implementation experience.

HR Call Center Representative

The Call Center Representative I is responsible for providing service to Smahrt's participant base.  Representatives will answer incoming inquiries from our client's employees regarding health and welfare benefit plans, absence management, COBRA, Worker’s Compensation or other human resource related services.  They will continually develop the ability to communicate with impact, apply critical thinking and show a strong desire to drive for results while working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  They will also perform outbound calls to provide timely follow-up on outstanding issues, and work on various administrative projects.  

Education and Experience:

Four year college degree preferred, 1-2 years customer service experience.  Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to research, follow up and resolve sensitive issues, proficient in working with web based applications and Microsoft Office, keyboarding (greater than 40 wpm), fluency in Spanish a plus.
